Services

Onsite

The Madison County Group Home provides group living to six intellectual developmentally disabled adults. Special services are provided when necessary: North Carolina Innovations (NCI), and Personal Care.  This is a one-to-one service to help meet challenges in day-to-day life skills.

Some of the skills taught to residents are personal hygiene, money management, social interactions, leisure activities and housekeeping skills. Residents attend a day training program in the community to learn work and academic skills. Person-centered plans are developed with each resident and are updated annually or as the resident‘s need changes.

Community

The Madison County Group Home also provides services in the community and private homes for I/DD consumers that include: Developmental Therapy, Personal Assistance, Personal Care, and Hourly Respite.
